This document provides a road map for the integration of the resources centres in the EELA-2 Production Infrastructure. The following table presents the table collected from the answers provided by the EELA-2 Partner representatives. It shows the date when each Resource Centre should be available for integration, the amount of job slots resources they are willing to commit to the infrastructure and their level of expertise, in terms of know on middleware installation and troubleshooting and on participating on other grid infrastructure, like EGEE. Question marks are used when the partner representative didn’t present an answer to the survey questions.
Based on the table below it is possible to see that we have right now 28 sites ready to be integrated in the infrastructure. It is simply impossible to integrate all these partners at the same time and keep that infrastructure running smoothly as expected. So, we decided to take a pragmatic approach and select a few of these Resource Centres for integration until December / 2008 and to integrate the remaining ones next year. Our selection was based on two aspects: site admin expertise and amount of resources committed to the grid. Also, RCs from partners who participate in SA1 and in the Grid Operation tasks were prioritized for obvious reasons. Base on this we selected the following sites for Integration until the end of the year (2008). CETA-CIEMAT, CIEMAT, UFRJ, INFN, ULA, UNIANDES, UFCG, U. PORTO, CESGA, UPV, UTFSM, UNAM-ICN, UNAM-DGSCA, U.MINHO and UC.
With the integration of these 15 RCs we expect to offer a production quality infrastructure for the NA3 application, keeping the infrastructure services running smoothly and being able to provide the expected support level to our users and site administrators.
From January/2009 on we expect to integrate at least 8 of the remaining RCs per month (2 RCs per OOD Team per Month) finishing the integration of all Resource Centres by April/2009 , project month 12.
